Bronx Cheer Soul Fever Nite GroovesFalling asleep at the wheel here so just the one review tonight, namely of this latest from Nite Grooves and the London-based duo of Paul Parsons and Tim Nice, AKA Bronx Cheer

Three mixes of Soul Fever to choose from. In its Original form, it’s quite a lively, contemporary-sounding houser with contrasting rap-style male and diva-ish female vocal elements, some lush piano chords and trumpet/sax (?) parps, and plenty of big-floor bounce for your buck. Piers Kirwan’s remix heads deeper and has a more soulful feel, and is a quality pass for sure but – somewhat predictably – it’s the big n’ throbbing, M1-sporting Tough Mix that’s doing it best for me.

Out: This week (on general release)
